What are the opening hours for the event?
The event will take place from 10:00 to 17:00. The campus will be open to visitors 30 minutes before and after the event.
Is there an entrance fee?
No, entry to Open Day is free of charge.
Images and Video Recordings - what are the images and video recordings used for?
At public events such as Open Day, photographs, videos, and audiovisual recordings (i.e. personal data) are created as part of our public relations activities. Click here to find out more information.
Is the venue accessible for disabled persons?
The campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich is accessible for disabled persons. The accessible institutes are marked on the Open Day leaflet and signposted on campus.
Can I take photos and record videos at the venue?
Yes, photos and videos are permitted for personal use.
Are dogs allowed on campus?
No, unfortunately your pets must stay at home for Open Day, with the exception of guide dogs.
Are bicycles allowed on campus?
Yes, bicycles are permitted on campus. Bicycle stands are available at the campus entrances.
Can the campus be reached by public transport?
Yes, Forschungszentrum Jülich is easy to reach by public transport.
Can I park my car close to the venue?
Yes, there are designated parking spaces available in the vicinity.
Can I park on campus if I have a disabled pass?
Yes, this is possible. You can show your disabled pass at the main entrance and then follow the signposting or the instructions of security personnel.
Can I bring my own food and drink on Open Day?
Yes, this is allowed.
Will the Hambach gate be open?
The Hambach gate is open for pedestrians on Open Day.
